The Blak Shak is the perfect getaway for couples or solo travellers. Fully self-contained, this brand-new, modern space offers a place to escape, surrounded by nature. Built on 2 1/2 acres of old pineapple farmland, this luxury treehouse is only minutes from the popular town of Montville, which boasts quaint shops, cafes and sweeping views down to the coast. With the up-and-coming town of Palmwoods is also just a short drive down the road, the Blak Shak is close to everything but feels a world away.
LUXURY MONTVILLE TREEHOUSE
As you walk in the front door, you’ll be greeted with incredible views of the forest through the giant picture window. Listen to the beautiful birdsongs throughout the day or the chirp of the frogs at night. Firewood is provided so you can warm up in front of the fire, either inside or out by the firepit. There is also a reverse-cycle air conditioner for quick heating or cooling.
There’s plenty to do in the Blak Shak, with books to browse, games to play or art supplies to create a masterpiece! Stretch into your favourite yoga poses and meditate on the provided yoga mats or head out and explore our beautiful area! Enjoy a day of shopping in nearby hinterland boutiques and markets or immerse yourself in nature at one of the many national parks, magical waterfalls and scenic trails. WAKE UP IN THE TREETOPS
Enjoy a beautiful night’s rest in luxurious linens on a queen memory foam mattress with the extra comfort of a pillow mattress topper. Barn doors separate the bedroom from the rest of the cabin. Wake up and throw the bedroom’s sliding glass doors open to take in the beauty of the hinterland. Gaze out to the treetops and enjoy a cuppa on your private deck overlooking the forest.
IN THE HEART OF THE HINTERLAND
Hunchy is located just minutes from both Montville and Palmwoods town centres. It is perfectly situated for beach and bush. Kondallila National Park is a just under 10 minutes away and the beaches of Maroochydore or Mooloolaba are approx 25 minutes drive (traffic depending).
While taxis or Ubers can be obtained to/from our property, the Blak Shak is located in a semi-rural area, thus there is no access to public transport. It is advisable to have a car to get around the area.
